VACANCIES FOR OUR CLIENTS IN LIBYA
We are (Teknica (UK) Company for Engineering & Technical Services operating in Libya) looking for the following candidates to work for our clients in Libya.
The candidate must be an Electrical Engineer with at least fifteen (15) years of combined work experience in engineering design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of power system in power plants, and in oil and gas facilities. The candidate must meet the following criteria:
Must be a registered electrical engineer. Must have experience in the installation and testing of protective relays, MV circuit breakers, etc.
Conversant with the use of computers and other computer applications in
the power system industry. Can detect possible defects and faults in installation works and can recommend appropriate remedial measure.
With excellent knowledge of electrical inspection techniques in Oil & Gas
Industrial Sector. Must possess good English written and oral communication skills. Possess wide knowledge of the relevant international codes and standards applied in the power and oil/gas industry.
Teknica has a requirement for (4) Instrumentation Technicians to be assigned to work at our client. The candidates should have the following pre-requisite qualifications and work experience: Direct field experience (10 to 15 years) in installation and trouble-shouting of instruments and control systems equipment in the oil and gas industry! with intimate knowledge of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, fiscal gas and oil measurement systems, rotating machinery control, monitoring and protection systems, fire fighting and gas detection systems, control and ESD systems based on SCADA, PLC and DCS. They must have an all-round knowledge of international codes and standards for quality and safety requirements. Adequate experience in project work covering field equipment installation, assembling, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities in the existing instrumentation systems, new projects development, plant modifications, and expansions and upgrade projects. Should have hands on experience in installation of instrumentation mechanical fittings and pipe and tube fittings. Detailed knowledge of the instrument installation standards, instrument hook-up arrangements, instrument installation materials standards, instrument cable requirements and cable trays construction. Should possess good communication skills, be capable of teamwork and have an adequate level of English language usage. Should have extensive professional experience in Field Bus instruments and Field Bus network installation and commissioning.
Terms & Conditions: · Job Title: ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR (Single Status Contract). · Work Cycle: 40 working days on 23 days off. · Work Hours: 7 days a week - 10 hours a day. · Job Title: INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (Single Status Contract). · Work Cycle: 42 working days on 21 days off. · Work Hours: 7 days a week - 8 hours a day. · Flights (economy), Accommodation, Transportation, Food, Medical and Visa expenses will be provided by Teknica. LIBYA - TRIPOLI
Teknica is establishing a new engineering design office in Tripoli and requires the following engineering staff immediately:
Degree-qualified with membership of an appropriate engineering institution the successful candidate will have at least 15 years experience in the FEED and detail design of onshore/offshore oil and gas installations, refineries or petrochemical plant. In depth experience of plant layout is essential.
The position requires demonstrable experience of leading project teams and taking responsibility for meeting manhour budgets and schedule requirements.
Graduate Engineers with at least ten years experience required in petrochemical plant mechanical design and field installation. Hands on experience with rotating equipment including compressors and gas turbines together with previous pipeline experience essential.
